Parameter Description
Digital inputs
• Maximum input current: 4mA (for "1" signal: > 1.5 mA)
•

– DI 0 → 1: < 10
μs
– DI 1 → 0: < 150 μs
• Fast digital input delay time:
– F-DI 0 → 1: < 5 μs
– F-DI 1 → 0: < 5 μs

iver 5V: 4MHz
Pulse train output Output voltage: line driver (5V dierential)
Output frequency: ≤ 4 MHz
Saf
ety Integrated (for S200 PTI only)
Safety function STO, SIL3/PLe/Category4
STO fullls t
he requirements of t
he following standards:
• SIL3 according to IEC61800-5-2
• PLe according to ISO13849-1
• Category 4 according to ISO13849‑1
Response time: ≤ 20 ms
The response time of the Safe Tor
que O function is the time between selecting the
function and the function becoming active.
Probability of Failure per Hour (PFH): < 10
-7
Failure probabilities must be
specied for Safety Integrated Functions in the form of a
PFH value according to IEC 61800-5-2, IEC 62061 and EN ISO 13849-1. The PFH value of
a Safety Integrated Function depends on the safety concept of the converter, its hard‐
ware conguration and the PFH values of the other components used for the Safety
Integrated Function.
Mission time: 20 years
You may not operat
e converters with integrated safety functions for longer than the
mission time. The mission time starts when the device is delivered. The mission time
cannot be extended. This is the case even if a service department checks the converter
– or in the meantime, the converter was decommissioned.
1)
Integral solid st
ate short circuit protection does not provide branch circuit protection. Branch circuit protection must be
provided in accordance with the National Electrical Code and any additional local codes.
2)
The 200 V converter has an overvoltage threshold of 410VDC and an undervoltage threshold of 155 V DC; the 400 V
converter has an overvoltage threshold of 820VDC and undervoltage threshold of 320VDC.
3)
Motor temperature is calculated by motor thermal model and protected by the output current from the converter.
