3-6. PLAYBACK FREQUENCY RESPONSE
CHARACTERISTICS ADJUSTMENT
Purpose : Remove variation of picture quality between
heads due to difference of characteristics.
Adjustment error : Flicker or over-modulation of playback picture.

1 6 00 01 After setting the data, press the PAUSE button. (Preparation)
2 F 38 Change data using PLAY and STOP buttons to adjust the level ration between 3.5MHz
level and 5.5MHz level of the PB RF waveform of channel “1a” satisfies the specification.
Press the PAUSE button. Playback mode.
3 F 39 Adjust the channel “2a” in the same way (address 39). Press the PAUSE button.
Playback mode.
4 F 01 Read the data of page : F, address : 01, and record it.
*5 F 01 10 After setting the data, press the PAUSE button. (Forced LP head selection)
*6 F 3A Change data using PLAY and STOP buttons to adjust the level ration between 3.5MHz
level and 5.5MHz level of the PB RF waveform of channel “1a” satisfies the specification.
Press the PAUSE button. Playback mode.
*7 F 3B Adjust the channel “2a” in the same way (address 3B). Press the PAUSE button.
Playback mode.
*8 F 01 Set the data which is recorded in step 4 to this address and press the PAUSE button.
9 6 00 00 After setting the data, press the PAUSE button. (End)
