3-11. FE OSC CHECK
Purpose : Check the oscillating frequency and level of
the flying erase (FE) signal.
Adjustment error : If REC-PAUSE recording is repeated, un-
erased area is left in the junctions between the
editings which results in increase of noise or
previous picture can be seen.

6 Make a recording.
7 Check that the FE signal level satisfies the specification.
8 Check that the FE signal frequency satisfies the specification.
