10. Bag-in-a-Box system leaks. 1. Verify cleaner feed line connectors are clean and properly
connected to Bag-in-a-Box containers; clean and reconnect if
necessary (refer to S
ECTION 6.8).
2. Damaged Bag-in-a-Box container connections or feed lines, call
STERIS.*
3. Damaged cleaner injection pumps, call STERIS.*
11. Flow Unit is disconnected at cycle
end.
1. Required Flow Unit was incorrectly connected; repeat cycle.
a. Properly connect required Flow Unit on endoscope, as
explained in Endoscope Quick Reference Guide.
b. ENDOSCOPES AND ACCESSORIES MUST BE
REPROCESSED THROUGH A COMPLETE RELIANCE
EPS CYCLE (refer to S
ECTION 4).
2. If Flow Unit is disconnected at end of repeated cycle, inspect Flow
Unit and Flow Units ports for obvious damage, call STERIS.*
12. Abnormal quantity of water in
endoscope channels ends after
air purge.
1. May be a normal situation if door is opened immediately after an
air purge.
To reduce quantity of water remaining in endoscope channels,
increase air purge phase time (refer to S
ECTION 5.2.2).
2. Air purge pre-filter needs changing, call STERIS.*
3. Air purge HEPA filter needs changing, call STERIS.*
4. Air purge duct is leaking or disconnected, call STERIS.*
