2-20 PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
ENGINE IDLE SPEED
• Adjust the throttle cable play. (!2-18)
• Warm up the engine.
• Connect the multi-circuit tester to the primary lead wire
(W/Bl).

• Start the engine, turn the throttle stop screw
1 and set the
engine idle speed as follows.
# Engine idle speed: 2 100 ± 50 r/min
CRANKCASE BREATHER HOSE
• Inspect the crankcase breather hose for damage, clogging
and bend. If any defects are found, the breather hose must be
replaced.
