16-10 FRONT AND REAR BRAKES
• Remove the caliper bracket
4 from the caliper.
• Remove the boots

• Remove the spring

• Wrap the caliper with a rag to prevent brake fluid scatter and
piston pop-out.
• Apply low-pressure air into the caliper through the hole to
remove the piston.
• Remove the dust seal
8 and piston seal

REAR CALIPER REASSEMBLY AND
INSTALLATION
Reassemble and install the brake caliper in the reverse order of
removal and disassembly. Pay attention to the following points:
• Apply brake fluid to the new piston seal, new dust seal and
piston fit the piston seal, dust seal and piston.
! Specification and classification: DOT 4
" WARNING
Fingers can get caught between piston and caliper
body when removing the piston.
Do not place your fingers on the piston when remov-
ing the piston.
