12-16 FUEL SYSTEM
INSTALLATION
Install the carburetor in the reverse order of removal. Pay atten-
tion to the following points:
• Fit the projection on the carburetor body in the depression of
the intake pipe.
• Connect the throttle pulling cable
1 and throttle returning
cable
2 to the pulley.
• Turn in each throttle cable adjuster fully and locate each outer
cable so that the clearance is 1.5 – 2.5 mm (0.06 – 0.10 in).
• Tighten each lock-nut to the specified torque.
# Cable adjuster lock-nut: 2.2 N·m (0.22 kgf-m, 1.60 lb-ft)
• Adjust the throttle cable play. (!2-18)
INSPECTION AFTER INSTALLATION
• Wiring harness, cable and hose routing (!19-18 to -23)
• Fuel leakage (!2-21)
• Throttle cable play (!2-18)
• Engine idle speed (!2-20)
1.5 – 2.5 mm (0.06 – 0.10 in)
1.5 – 2.5 mm (0.06 – 0.10 in)
