Mower Identification
See Figures 2-1 through 2-3.

Serial Number
An identification plate (1) listing the vehicle mass (2),
engine power (3), date code (4), product number (5),
configuration code (6) and serial number (7) is attached
to the operator platform of the mower. Always provide the
serial number of the unit when ordering replacement
parts or requesting service information.
The vehicle mass (2) provides weight of the mower in kg
without the reels or the operator.
The engine power (3) provides the output of the engine in
kW.
The date code (4) is a four digit code providing month
and year the mower was manufactured.
The product number (5) is 068021 for all SLF530
mowers.
The configuration code (6) is a four digit alpha-numeric
code for the options installed on the mower.
The first digit is the mower identification.
• F: 3WD Option SLF530 Mower
• G: 4WD Option SLF530 Mower
The second digit is the cutting unit configuration.
• 5: Five 18 inch (457 mm) cutting units, three front
and two rear.
The third digit is the seat option.
• 1: Suspension Seat
The fourth digit is the tire option.
• 3: 3WD Smooth Tires
• 5: 4WD Smooth Tires

Engine Serial Number
The engine serial number (8) is located on a plate
attached to the top of the rocker arm cover which also
includes the engine model number and the engine code
number. There is also an engine data tag (9) attached to
the side of the rocker arm cover that provides emission
control information.
Optional Machine Accessories
This manual is structured to cover all basic machine
components and repair. The addition of accessories can
affect certain troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair
procedures.
