Installation
3.5 Essential Controls Overview
Check to ensure your local power supply
meets the requirements detailed in chapter
2, Site Planning and Prep.
3.5.1 E-stop, Start, Reset, and Power
NOTE: Before connuing, review Power O/On
Procedure later in this secon.
E-stop (emergency stop)
Each mill has one emergency Stop buon or
E-stop pre-installed on the Operator Panel (see
Figure 3.13 and 3.14). The E-stop terminates
all moon and spindle funcon. Depress the
E-stop and it locks in the Power O posion
(see Figure 3.15). Turn the E-stop clockwise a
quarter turn to release; press the green Start
buon to power back on (see Figure 3.13).
Start
The green Start buon powers on circuits for
the axis drives. On the Operator Panel, the
Machine LED indicates the green Start buon
is pressed (see Figure 3.14). When lit, the
Machine OK LED on the PathPilot interface’s
Status tab should be solid green (see Figure
3.16), indicang the mill is powered on and
ready to operate.
NOTE: Once E-stop is depressed, Start buon is
inoperave unl the E-stop is released.
