E-stop (emergency stop)
Each mill has one emergency Stop buon or
E-stop pre-installed on the Operator Panel (see
Figure 3.13 and 3.14). The E-stop terminates
all moon and spindle funcon. Depress the
E-stop and it locks in the Power O posion

quarter turn to release; press the green Start
buon to power back on (see Figure 3.13).
Start
The green Start buon powers on circuits for
the axis drives. On the Operator Panel, the
Machine LED indicates the green Start buon
is pressed (see Figure 3.14). When lit, the
Machine OK LED on the PathPilot interface’s
Status tab should be solid green (see Figure
3.16), indicang the mill is powered on and
ready to operate.
NOTE: Once E-stop is depressed, Start buon is
inoperave unl the E-stop is released.
