6. When copied to the new locaon, the le displays in the USB Drive Window.
7. Click the Eject buon to disconnect the USB drive from the controller (see Figure 6.14).
NOTE: Ejecng the USB drive this way helps to avoid corrupng data on the USB drive.
File Management
Use the New Folder, Rename, and Delete buons below the respecve USB Drive and Hard Drive
Windows for le management (see Figure 6.14). To move les into a folder, right-click on the le and
select cut or copy from the pop-up menu.
Edit G-code
The G-code File Preview window displays the contents of the selected .nc le (see Figure 6.14).
1. To edit the G-code, highlight the le and click the Edit G-code buon (see Figure 6.14).
2. A text editor opens the le in a new window for eding the contents of the le. Make the
appropriate changes to the le and click Save; close the text editor by clicking on the X in the
upper right-hand window of the screen. When asked to re-load the le, click OK.
Load G-Code
The Load G-Code funcon is only available for les stored on the controller (see Figure 6.14).
1. Navigate to the desired .nc le in the Hard Drive Window and highlight; click Load G-Code
buon (see Figure 6.14).
2. Click on Main le tab; verify G-Code le name appears in drop-down menu (see Figure 6.14).

6.5 Settings Tab
On the le side of the Sengs screen is a eld that displays a range of available G-code modalies,
with acve G-codes highlighted in yellow. The right side of the Sengs screen has check boxes to
congure the PathPilot operang system to suit machine conguraon (see Figure 6.15).
Select the tool changer type that matches mill conguraon. The mill behavior when it encounters
an M6 command is dierent depending on which tool changing opon is selected on this screen.
