13.Turnthesteeringwheelinbothdirectionssothatthesteeringcylindersmove
inandoutseveraltimes.
14.Operatethetractionpedalintheforwardandreversedirections.Thedrive
wheelsshouldrotateintheproperdirection.Ifthewheelsrotateinthewrong
direction,shutofftheengine,inspectthehydrauliclineplacementatthe
hydraulicpumpandhydraulicmotor.Correctthehydrauliclineinstallation
beforeyouproceed.
15.EnsurethatthetractionpedalreturnstotheNEUTRALpositionwhenreleased
fromtheforwardorreversedirectionandadjustifnecessary.
16.Checktheoperationofthetractioninterlockswitches;refertoCheckingthe
OperationoftheInterlockSwitches(page6–15).
17.Ifthehydrostat/hydraulicpumpwasreplacedorrebuilt,operatethetraction
circuitsothatallthewheelsrotateslowlyfor10minutes.
18.Operatethemachinebygraduallyincreasingitsworkloadtofullovera10
minuteperiod.
19.Stopthemachine.Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthehydraulicreservoir
(frontaxle)andaddcorrectquantityofuidifnecessary;refertothe
Operator’sManual.
20.Checkthehydrauliccomponentsforleaksandtightenanylooseconnections.
