RemovingtheOperatorSeat

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck(orimplement),

shutofftheengine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthe

keyswitch.

2.Disconnectthenegativebatterycablefromthebattery;refertoServicingthe

Battery(page6–80).

3.Disconnecttheelectricalconnectorfromtheseatswitch.Onpneumatic

seatsuspensionsystems,disconnecttheelectricalconnectorfromthe

suspension.

4.Removethe2ange-headscrews(item12inFigure185)and2angenuts

(item8inFigure185)thatsecuretheseatbasetothemachine.

5.Removetheseatandseatbasefromthemachine.

6.Removetheseatcomponentsasnecessary(Figure185).

InstallingtheOperatorSeat

1.Installtheseatcomponents(Figure185).

2.Positiontheseatandseatbasetothemachine.

3.Securetheseatbasetothemachinewiththe2ange-headscrews(item12

inFigure185)and2angenuts(item8inFigure185).

4.Connecttheelectricalconnectortotheseatswitch.Onpneumaticseat

suspensionsystems,connecttheelectricalconnectortothesuspension.

5.Connectthenegativebatterycabletothebattery;refertoServicingthe

Battery(page6–80).
