17.5.2 Routing Cables
Depending on the sensor or device, route the cables along the mast and attach the cables to
the mast
firmly with cable ties. The recommended distance between the cable ties is
30 … 40 cm (11.81 … 15.75 in).
Install the down conductor on the opposite side of the mast from the other
cables.
CAUTION!
With a tiltable mast: To avoid damage to cables when the mast is lowered and erected,
route the device cables down the hinge side and leave enough slack cable next to the
hinge. Protect the cables near the hinge with the provided protective spiral.
17.5.3 Connecting Sensor Cables (Rubber Flange)
Make sure that the cable is properly attached to the mast or the sensor
support arm before you start the installation. Otherwise, it may slip and fall down during
the installation.
