17.8 Powering Up
Only licensed experts may install electrical components. They must
adhere to local and state legislation and regulations.

grounding, lightning protection, safe installation, and power supply. Follow local and
state legislation and regulations.
WARNING!
Ground the product and verify outdoor installation grounding
periodically. Failure to provide proper grounding can result in injury or death from
electrical shock and can severely damage the equipment.
WARNING!
After you have completed the installation, power up the system in the order presented:
1. Backup battery (if included)
2. Solar panel (if included)
3. AC (mains) power (if included)
For battery connection, make sure that the backup battery is properly fastened in place
before connecting the battery cables.
