5.1 Overview of Mast Installation
Vaisala
oers mast-specific mounting kits for the enclosure and sensor arm.

If ice or snow accumulates on the mast, guy wires, or sensors, the ice or
snow can fall and cause injury to persons below.
WARNING!
Vaisala recommends that the cable conduits are in place when the mast is being erected
and power connected to the station.
To prevent corrosion and oxidation, use copper paste or equivalent on screws and
connector threads.
5.2 Component Placement on Pole Mast
The following figure gives guidelines for placing various components on Vaisala Tiltable Pole
Mast DKP210. You can use the figure as a guideline also for other types of masts.
