6.9 Exchanging the cooling liquid / cleaning the
cooling liquid tank
Increased wear of the pump if the cooling liquid
tank is not sufficiently cleaned
Ifthecoolingliquidtankisnotsucientlycleanedbeforell-
ing in the new cooling liquid, the useful life of the pump can
decrease
signicantly.
h Every time that you exchange the cooling liquid, carry
out all steps in this chapter in the given order.
M1. Before exchanging the cooling liquid and / or cleaning
the cooling liquid tank, clean the working chamber
and measuring key.
M2. Have ready:
A container for collecting the cooling liquid
A cloth for cleaning
Tap water
A wet vacuum cleaner if necessary
M3. Close the working chamber door.
M4. Switchothemachine.
M5. Carefully remove the cooling liquid tank completely
from the machine (
chapter 6.7, page 28).
M6. Completely empty the cooling liquid tank, lling its
content into the collecting container.

M7. Pullthecoarseltermatupwardsandoutofitsholder.

M8. Clean the cooling liquid tank thoroughly with a cloth
and a lot of tap water.
M9. Ifyouwanttoreusethecoarseltermat,cleanitthor
-
oughly with a lot of tap water.
M10.
Remove the residual dirt in the cooling liquid tank with
a wet vacuum cleaner if necessary.
M11. Insert the cleaned mat or a new mat into the holder.
M12. Fill tap water without cooling lubricant into the cooling
liquid tank until the pump is completely submerged.
M13. Re-insert the cooling liquid tank into the machine
(
chapter 6.8, page 28).
M14. Switch on the machine and start DentalCNC.
S15.
Activate the cooling liquid supply system by
clicking on the depicted icon.
Cooling liquid is spraying in the working chamber.
M16. Check the purity of the water through the view window
to the working chamber. Do not continue as long as the
water is not clear.
S17.
Deactivate the cooling liquid supply system by
clicking on the depicted icon.
Cooling liquid is no longer spraying into the working
chamber.
M18. Switchothemachine.
M19. Dispose of the tap water in the cooling liquid tank and
re-insert the cooling liquid tank into the machine.
M20. Fill water and cooling lubricant in the cooling liq
-
uid tank as described in the corresponding chapter
(
chapter 4.5, page 14).
M21. Close the cooling liquid tank.
