7. If the specified value is reached, check secondary pressures; if not,
adjust primary pressure and check again.
Adjusting the primary pressure
1. Remove the cap of the control console on the outside –
see “Removing/installing filler cap for the control console” on
page 1-19.
2. Pull off the cap of the primary pressure relief valve 1 on the control
valve.
3. Using an Allen wrench, turn the primary pressure relief valve
clockwise: the pressure increases.
4. Check the primary pressure.
5. If the primary pressure has changed, adjust the primary pressure
limiting valves until the specified value is reached.
6. If the primary pressure has not changed, turn the primary pressure
relief valve clockwise one more revolution.
7. Check the primary pressure.
8. If the primary pressure has changed, adjust the primary pressure
limiting valves until the specified value is reached.
9. If the primary pressure has not changed, turn the primary pressure
relief valve two anticlockwise revolutions.
10.Then check the throughput of the gear pump.
Checking the throughput
1. Install a flow meter into the hydraulic line between gear pump and
pressure filter.
2. Read off the throughput of the gear pump on the flow meter (specified
value: – see “Operating hydraulics” on page E-8).
3. If the throughput is too small, seal or replace the gear pump.
