Maintenance
Replace the filter element of the fuel filter (Perkins Motor)
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to hot and moving engine parts!
Hot and moving engine parts can cause injury.
► Do not open the engine cover if the engine is running.
► Let the engine cool down.
► Wear protective equipment.
Preparations
1. Park the machine on firm, level and dry ground.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Lower the loader unit to the ground.
4. Stop the engine.
5. Open the engine cover.
Removing the filter element
1. Rotate filter element 3 in the direction of the arrow until the symbols 4
“Open lock” are in line.
2. Pull filter element downward out of the filter head.
3. Unscrew sight glass 6 from filter element 5.
4. Clean sight glass.
