Installing the fuel filter
1. Position fuel filter 4 on bracket.
2. Remove screws 3 (SW13).
3. Slide new one-ear clamps 2 onto the fuel hoses 1.
4. Slide fuel hoses 1 onto the connection piece.
5. Tighten the one-ear clamps 7 with a suitable pair of tongs 6.
6. Remove hose clips 5.
Bleeding the fuel system
Perkins engine
1. Add fuel to the fuel tank.
2. Turn the starting key to position I so that the electric fuel-feed pump
works.
3. Wait one minute.
- The system bleeds itself automatically.
➥ The engine is then ready to be started.
