7.3 Removing/installing the steering column
1. Remove the steering wheel – see “Removing/installing the steering
wheel” on page 7-2.
2. Remove cover 1.
3. Unscrew cover plate 1. Remove four screws for this.
4. Remove socket head screws 3.
5. Remove the steering orbitrol from steering column 2.
6. Disconnect all plug-and-socket connections between the wiring
harness and the steering column.
7. Remove four screws 4.
8. Remove the steering column.
Install in the reverse order.
