Safety instructions
Safety instructions for work on the engine
Only perform repair work if the machine is secured (see Operator’s
Manual).
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to hot and moving engine parts!
Hot and moving engine parts can cause injury.
Do not open the engine cover if the engine is running.
Let the engine cool down.
Wear protective equipment.
Check the V-belt only when the engine is off!
WARNING
Poisoning hazard during work with the engine running in closed
spaces!
Engine exhaust is hazardous to your health!
Do not inhale engine exhaust!
Ensure good ventilation of the room
Remove exhaust gas with a suction system.
Do not smoke and avoid open light or fire when handling flammable
liquids.
Do not use water to extinguish fires on the loader or burning liquids.
Use suitable extinguishing agents, such as powder, carbon dioxide or
foam.
Always call the fire department in the event of a fire!
Environment
Immediately clean up spilled oil or fuel with a binder. Dispose of the binder
with the spilled liquid separately from other waste and in an
environmentally friendly manner!
Rectify any oil or fuel leaks immediately.
Avoid environmental damage! Do not allow the oil and oily wastes to
get into the ground or stretches of water!
Even biodegradable, “environmentally friendly” oil must be disposed of
separately, just like every other type of oil.
