1.8 Engine lubrication system
Replace the engine oil and engine oil filter
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to hot and moving engine parts!
Hot and moving engine parts can cause injury.
► Do not open the engine cover if the engine is running.
► Let the engine cool down.
► Wear protective equipment.
Preparations
1. Warm up the vehicle for at least five minutes.
2. Park the machine on firm, level and dry ground.
3. Apply the parking brake.
4. Fully retract the loader unit and lower it to the ground.
5. Stop the engine.
6. Open the engine cover.
Information
The engine oil can be drained through the opening 1 into the base plate.
Duct
1. Unscrew filler cap 2 from the oil drain valve.
2. Screw on hose with drain coupling, making sure the end of the hose is
in the oil drip tray.
3. Completely drain the oil.
