Water separator maintenance
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to hot and moving engine parts!
Hot and moving engine parts can cause injury.
► Do not open the engine cover if the engine is running.
► Let the engine cool down.
► Wear protective equipment.
Information
The water separator is located on the left side of the machine.
Preparations
1. Park the machine on firm, level and dry ground.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Fully retract the loader unit and lower it to the ground.
4. Stop the engine.
5. Open the engine cover.
Drain water
1. Place a container under water separator W.
2. Remove the drain plug from the filter.
➥ The collected water now drains.
3. Firmly re-tighten the drain plug.
4. Bleed the fuel system – see "Bleeding the fuel system" on page 1-37.
