Tilt cylinder
2. Unscrew the safety screw 2 from the pin.
WARNING
Injury hazard due to pressure
A thin jet of hydraulic oil escaping under high pressure can penetrate the
skin.
► Seek medical attention immediately if hydraulic oil penetrates the skin
or eyes.
► Only open hydraulic systems after the pressure in them has been
released.
► Wear protective clothes.
3. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system – see “Releasing
residual pressure in the hydraulic system” on page E-32.
4. Screw off and cap the hydraulic lines 3 and 4.
5. Secure the tilt cylinder with suitable lifting gear.
6. Unscrew plug 7.
7. Dislodge the pin 5.
8. Raise the tilt cylinder 6.
9. Unscrew the compensation rings if necessary.
10.Drive out the pin 9 using a suitable extension 8.
11.Raise the tilt cylinder.
Install in the reverse order.
NOTICE
Pay attention to the following instructions for assembly:
► Apply a thin coat of grease to the pins and bearings before inserting the
pins.
► Always use spring washers and washers for tightening the pins.
► After completing installation, apply grease to the cylinder bearings.
