Steering column gas strut
7.4 Removing/installing the steering column gas strut
1. Remove the steering wheel – see “Removing/installing the steering
wheel” on page 7-2.
2. Unscrew screws 1 on both sides of the instrument panel 2.
3. Fold back instrument panel.
4. Remove screws 3.
5. Flip open instrument panel cover 4.
6. Remove screws 5.
7. Raise the cover.
