12.1 Towing a machine
Preparations for towing
Damage to the variable displacement pump due to towing!
► Oil must be able to circulate freely during towing. To ensure this, the
high pressure valves 1 and 2 on the variable displacement pump must
be opened before towing (bypass).
1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system – see “Releasing
residual pressure in the hydraulic system” on page E-32.
2. Loosen hexagon nuts 3.
3. Screw in screws 1 and 2 until they are flush with nut 3.
4. Retighten hexagon nuts 3.
