8.3.2.1 Wind monitor
Heavy winds can cause damage to the outside sun shading products. The
WAREMA climatronic therefore includes a wind monitoring function that can
be activated to protect your sun shading products against storm damage.
In the event of a wind alarm, the sun protection products are automatically
moved to an adjustable position and can then neither be operated by hand
nor through a comfort function.
The limit values for a wind alarm for each product type are already stored in
the WAREMA climatronic but can be subsequently changed and stored.
Make sure that you have correctly set the product type of the channel; useful
settings will then already have been stored for the channel.
In the following menu, the parameters of the wind monitor can be manually
adjusted to your own preferences for the selected channel (channel 1 in this
case):
WARNING
It is highly recommended not to deactivate the wind monitor for outside
sun shading products such as external venetian blinds, articulated arm
awnings and conservatory awnings as well as windows. In contrast, there is
no risk associated with deactivating the wind monitor for inside sun shading
products such as venetian blinds and other controllable products such lights
and heating, etc.
