If the direction-dependent wind control is selected for a channel, an
angle range can be created with the [Wind direction from] and
[Wind direction to] parameters for which the limit value is lower than the
"WIND" limit value; this means that the product is more sensitive to wind from
this directional range. 0° corresponds to the compass direction north, 90°
corresponds to east, 180° to south and 270° to west.
Example Proceed as follows if a wind alarm is to be triggered by a west wind that is
10m/s or faster:
Direct.depend. lim.val. WIND
Move to the [Direct.depend. lim.val. WIND] line with the function wheel;
press the function wheel.
Set 10 m/s by turning the function wheel; press the function wheel.
Wind direction from
Move to the [Wind direction from] line with the function wheel; press the
function wheel.
Set 224° by turning the function wheel; press the function wheel.
Set 316° by turning the function wheel. You will see the following display:
Close by pressing the function wheel to return to the
[Wind control channel 1] menu (or the channel name assigned by you).
