4.7 Supply Voltage
In the delivery status the APS is supplied via the auxiliary transformer. The supply
voltage (optional UPS buffered) feeds the radial fans, cooling tower, control and the
option heating.
NOTICE: The N terminal (-X1.4) and the PE terminal (-X1.5) are connected.
Requirements:
• Product operates with a supply voltage of 400 V
AC
(+/- 10%) / 50 Hz /
TN-S grid.
• Supply lines must be connected and secured by means of a 16 A miniature
circuit breaker with tripping characteristic K or a 16 A fuse with tripping
characteristic gG.
4.7.1 Interfaces for the Supply Voltage
4.7.1.1 External Supply by the Customer
NOTICE: If the supply voltage will be buffered via an external UPS these connections
must be secured by a surge arrester.
Procedure:
1. Open doors in Section +C1.
2. Open corresponding cable ducts.
3. Route the cable through the cable entry.
4. Connect PE conductor, N conductor, L1, L2 and L3 conductor of the external
customer supply to terminal strip (-X1) (Figure 95).
5. Route PE conductor, N conductor and L conductor from terminal strip (-X11) to
the customer installation area and connect them.
6. Close cable ducts.
