For dismounting and mounting the protective covers the next procedure must be
performed.
Procedure:
1. Loosen the turnbuckle. The turnbuckle is hand-tightened (Figure 11).
NOTICE: During mounting ensure the correct order of screw and washer for the screw
connection.
2. Loosen the screw connection. The screw is tightened with a torque of 45 Nm
(Figure 12).
3. Mount the parts in the reverse order.
NOTICE
Damage to the product due to over-tightened stiffening strive!
Overtightening of the turnbuckle leads to distorting of the cabinet.
• Tighten the turnbuckle only hand-tight.
2.4.2 Option Insulation Monitoring External
If the insulation monitoring of the APS is done external, the customer must perform the
following procedure.
Procedure:
1. Apply a HIGH-pulse (+24 V
DC
) at (-KF3) on port 14 (DI-07) (Figure 21)
(APS with 1-2 APUs).
2. Apply a HIGH-pulse (+24 V
DC
) at (-KF3) on port 24 (DI-08) (Figure 21)
(APS with 3-4 APUs).
2.4.3 Option Insulation Monitoring Negative/Positive Grounding
If the option “Negative Grounding” is requested, a circuit breaker will connect the
“-Udc” to the “PE”. For the option “Positive Grounding” a circuit breaker will connect the
“+Udc” to the “PE”. The auxiliary contact of the circuit breaker is monitored by the
APMC. If an error occurs an error message similar to the insulation error message will
be generated. The tripped circuit breaker, located in Section +C3 and/or +C6, must be
manually reset.
