8.3 Maintenance every 48 Months
NOTICE: During each maintenance interval, the following point must be checked. The
12-months maintenance (Section 8.1) must also be performed.

Changing of the Cooling Fluid
8.3.1 Changing of the Cooling Fluid
NOTICE
Damage to the product due to adding of incorrect or impure
cooling fluid!
Filling of impure and incorrect cooling fluid into the cooling system can
damage the product.
• The cooling fluid must be stored in the original packaging under
dry and dark conditions. This will prevent bacteria and algae
formation.
• During filling make sure that no impurities get into the cooling
system (e.g. through contaminated bucket and funnel).
• Use the delivered funnel with filter.
• Fill the cooling system with only the original cooling fluid.
NOTICE: The cooling fluid is a mixture with 50 % glycol / 50 % distilled water.
Required material:
• Hose (Ø 20 mm) with sealing nipple and cap nut (M18x1.5) (not included in
scope of delivery)
• Suitable vessel (each cooling system contains approximately 45 litres) (not
included in scope of delivery)
• Funnel with filter
Maintenance Tasks:
1. Open the doors in Sections +C3, +C6.
NOTICE: One cooling system contains approximately 45 litres.
2. Drain the cooling system according to Section 4.4.4.
3. Close the ball valves (position OFF).
4. Dispose of the cooling fluid (Section 10).
5. Before refilling the cooling system, purge it rigorously with water
6. Open the ball valves (position ON) to remove the water.
7. Close the ball valves (position OFF).
8. Fill the cooling system with the funnel with filter (separate packaging) to the
fluid level (Section 4.4.4).
9. Close the tank cover.
