6 Operation
6.1 User Interface
The product has the following user interfaces:
• Local visualization per touch display
• Remote visualization per VNC access
• FTP access
Access by an upstream control is provided via:
• Modbus TCP
• Powerlink Communication Interface (optional)
Touch display:
The user interface on the local touch display is used to show the main status
information of the product.
VNC access:
The VNC client allows access to control, configuration and status information.
FTP access:
PLC log and configuration files as well as software updates can be carried out via FTP
access.
6.2 Operating Modes
The operating modes and the switching between them are carried out by external
control via the user interface. These are described in detail in the Function and
Interface Description.
6.3 Resetting VNC Password
NOTICE: A voltage tap from the PLC for resetting the VNC password is not allowed.
The VNC password can be reset, when a HIGH-pulse (+24 V
DC
) of 2 minutes’ duration
is applied at (-KF2) port 24 (DI-08) (Figure 21, Pos. 1).
