9 Decommissioning
Procedure:
1. Stop the product (Section 5.3).
2. Switch off the AC/DC power externally and secure it from being switched on
again.
3. Ensure that the product is de-energized.
4. Disconnect the AC/DC cables.
5. Ensure that the AC/DC cables are permanently de-energized.
6. Ensure that no residual voltage is still present within the DC links by means of
suitable testing equipment (Figure 109, Figure 110).
7. Switch the miniature circuit breaker (-F1) in position O (Figure 21), to switch off
the supply voltage.
8. Disconnect the supply lines.
9. Ensure that the lines for supply voltage are permanently de-energized.
10. Disconnect fiber optic cable and any other cables if they are still connected.
