Pay attention to the installing direction of the
test harness S-pressure sensor (3P) coupler
“a”.
b. Connect the digital circuit tester (DCV) to the
test harness S-pressure sensor (3P).
c. Turn the main switch to “ON”.
d. Measure the intake air pressure sensor out-
put voltage.

CHECKING THE ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE
SENSOR
1. Check:
• Atmospheric pressure sensor output voltage
Out of specification → Replace.

a. Connect the test harness S-pressure sensor
(3P) “1” to the atmospheric pressure sensor
and wire harness as shown.

CHECKING THE AIR TEMPERATURE
SENSOR
1. Remove:
• Air temperature sensor
(from the windshield drive unit)
WARNING
EWA1MC1020
• Handle the air temperature sensor with
special care.
• Never subject the air temperature sensor to
strong shocks. If the air temperature sen-
sor is dropped, replace it.
2. Check:
• Air temperature sensor resistance
Out of specification → Replace.
