THROTTLE CABLE ADJUSTMENT
Prior to adjusting the throttle cable free play, the
engine idling speed and carburetor synchro-
nization should be adjusted properly.
1. Check:
 Throttle cable free play

Out of specification  Adjust.
Free play (throttle cable):
4  6 mm
At throttle grip flange
2. Remove:
 Rider’s seat
 Fuel tank
Refer to “FUEL TANK AND SEATS”.
3. Adjust:
 Throttle cable free play
Adjustment steps:
When the motorcycle is accelerating, throttle
cable #1

is pulled and throttle cable #2

is
pushed.
