WHEEL INSPECTION
1. Inspect:
Wheels
Bends/damage Replace.
After a tire or wheel has been changed or re-
placed always balance the wheel.
Never attempt to make any repairs to the
wheels.

SPOKE INSPECTION AND TIGHTENING
2. Inspect:
Spokes

Bending/damage Replace.
Loose spoke Retighten.
3. Tighten:
Spokes

Spoke wrench
Be sure to tighten the spokes before and after
break-in.
Nipple:
3 Nm (0.3 mkg)

CABLE INSPECTION AND LUBRICATION
Damaged cable sheaths may cause corro-
sion and interfere with cable movements.
Replace damaged cable sheaths and cables
as soon as possible.
