2. To compensate for the pressure drop through Columns 1 and 2, adjust the SELECTOR FLOW
ADJUST needle valve until the flow rate at the cell vent is the same as the total column flow.
Checking Selector Vent
1. See Figure 2-9. Connect the flow-measuring device to the Selector Vent and verify that Valve
One is ON and Valve Two is OFF.
2. To compensate for the pressure drop through Column 3, adjust the Selector Vent restrictor until
the flow rate at the Selector Vent is the same as the total column flow.
