4. In the nal Save Security Settings dialog, name the le and click Save.
The settings are stored in an AXML (Adobe XML) le using the le type
.acrobatsecuritysettings.
If you want to import security settings, choose Advanced > Security >
Import Security Settings and follow the prompts.

Exporting the collection of settings is dierent from exporting a certi-
cate. You export a certicate to share with recipients who can then vali
