Chapter 11 Go Online with the Controller
Download
Follow these steps to transfer your project from your computer to your
controller.
1. Turn the key switch of the controller to REM.
2. Open the controller project that you want to download.
3. Define the path to the controller.
a. Click Who Active .
b. Select the controller.
To open a level, click the + sign. If a controller is already selected,
make sure that it is the correct controller.
4. Click Download.
The software compares the following information in the offline project
and the controller:
• Controller serial number (if project to controller match is selected)
• Firmware major and minor revisions
•Safety status
• Safety task signature (if one exists)
• Safety-lock status
