Note: the domain name can't be changed.
Only a valid authentication allows the local desktop to be accessed.
Note: in event of password expiration, the user will be prompted to enter a new password.
After a successful authentication, the AD session can be closed by clicking the user icon on the
upper/right corner of the local desktop.
4.3 - LOCAL DESKTOP
The local desktop is displayed when there are no current active sessions or if the 'Desktop' icon (in
the left of the taskbar) had been clicked.
The local desktop appearance depends on the taskbar style (see Chapter 3.2.3).
The local desktop is organized as:
- The main area contains an icon column for the predefined sessions (see Table 1). The
optional icon on the second column is the 'Application Desktop' (if enabled)
- The taskbar is displayed on the bottom of the screen.

- Click a session icon or press the associated keystroke to open a session.
- Click a taskbar icon. See next chapters.
