Step 2
Selecting a Song and Eect
1. Select a song
1. Press the [TR1/2] (SONG) button.
2. Use the cursor buttons to move the cursor to “ALL SONGS,” and press the [ENTER]
button.
3. Use the dial to select a song, and press the [ENTER] button.
The BR-80 can narrow down the song display so that you can nd the desired song
more quickly (p. 94).

1. Press the [COSM] button.
2. Use the cursor buttons to move the cursor to “CATEGORY,” and use the dial to
choose a category.
3. Use the cursor buttons to move the cursor to “PATCH,” and use the dial to choose a
patch.
4. After you’ve chosen an eect, press the [EXIT] button a number of times to return
to the basic screen.
Eects suitable for guitar are already assigned to the BR-80’s internal songs, so you
can simply select a song and start playing.
If you’re playing an instrument other than guitar (e.g., bass or microphone), turn o
patch sync (p. 101).
