Braking system
1. Apply sealant to the sealing ring as shown
in the figure. “A”: sealant 99000-31090
2. Install the parking brake cable with its
gray ring side on the right.
3. Connect the cable to the parking brake
control handle. Do not adjust the control handle
at this point.
4. Apply sealant around the cable at the
position as shown in the figure, and then fix it
on the brake backing plate with a snap ring. “A”:
sealant 99000-31090
5. Connect the cable to the brake shoe
bracket and install the brake shoe to the
backing plate.
6. Install the brake drum.

! Caution
Steps 3-5 above must be performed on
the left and right wheels.
7. Refer to the cable fastening diagram.
8. After the above installation, adjust the
cable, and then check the dragging and system
performance of the above brake drum. After the
vehicle is lowered from the lifter, the brake
performance test must be carried out.
