The braking system of this vehicle has been filled with the specified brake fluid before
leaving the factory. When refilling, it is not allowed to use or mix different types of brake
fluid, otherwise serious failures may occur. Do not use expired or used brake fluid, nor use
brake fluid that has been poured out of unsealed containers.
4. Inspection of the brake lever and brake cable
• Parking brake lever
① Check the tooth shape of each travel for damage or wear. If damage or wear is found,
replace the brake lever.
② Check whether the operation and travel of the parking brake lever are normal, and
adjust them if necessary.
• Parking brake cable
Check the brake cable for damage and freedom of movement. If aging (damage) is
found, replace it immediately.
5. Inspection of the brake pedal
• Check the operation of the brake pedal.
Chassis and vehicle body
1. Inspection of tires and wheel discs
• Check the tires
① Check the tires for unevenness or excessive wear. If worn or damaged, replace the
tires.
② Check the air pressure of each tire and adjust it to reach the specified inflation
pressure.
△! Caution
① The tire inflation pressure should be checked when the tire is cold.
② The specified tire inflation pressure can be found on the tire nameplate or in the
vehicle user manual.
• Wheel disc
Check the wheel disc for dents (indentations), deformation, or cracks, and replace it
immediately if there are any signs of defects.
• Tire rotation
• Wheel bearing
① Check whether the front wheel bearings are worn, damaged, abnormal, noisy, and
rattling.
