② Check whether the rear wheel bearings are worn, damaged, abnormal, noisy, and
rattling.
2. Inspection of drive shaft protective sleeve
• Drive shaft protective sleeve
Check the drive shaft protective sleeve (wheel side and differential side) for leakage,
detachment, cracks, or other damage, and replace the protective sleeve as necessary.
3. Suspension system inspection
• Suspension system
① Inspect the front and rear struts for signs of oil leakage, pits or other damage on the
shaft sleeve, and inspect the ends of the fasteners for damage. If there is any damage,
please replace the damaged components.
② Check the front and rear suspension for damage, looseness, lack of parts, signs of
wear or insufficient lubrication. If there are signs, repair or replace the faulty components.
③ Check the front cantilever ball joint rod dust shield for leakage, detachment, cracks,
or other damage. Replace the damaged protective sleeve if any.
4. Inspection of steering system
• Steering system
① Check the steering wheel for play or rattles. Steering wheel clearance a: 0-30 mm
(0-1.1 in.).
② Check whether the bolts and nuts are tightened, and then tighten them as necessary.
If necessary, repair or replace the damaged parts.
③ Check the steering tie rod for looseness and damage. Repair or replace the damaged
parts, if any.
④ Check the steering tie rod protective sleeve and steering gear housing for damage
(leakage, detachment, cracks, etc.). If damage is found, replace the damaged protective
sleeve.
⑤ Check the universal joint of the steering shaft for rattles and damage. If there are
rattles or damage, replace the damaged part.
⑥ Check whether the steering wheel can be fully rotated to the left and right. Repair or
replace the damaged parts, if not.
⑦ If a power steering system is installed, in addition to the above inspection items, it
should also be checked whether the steering wheel fully rotates to the left and right more
quickly when the drive motor is running than when the drive motor is stopped. If any faults
are found, please replace them.
