Make sure the Modem board has adequate spacing between it and other products, to avoid cross
talk or electrical shorts. Do not put Modems immediately above or below a high electromagnetic
field (EMF) generator, to prevent output signal corruption and incorrect receive operation.
Do not install the DMD1050TS in an unprotected outdoor location, where there is direct contact
with rain, snow, wind or sun.
2.4.1 Tools Required
CAUTION – EQUIPMENT DAMAGE
When you install the modem assembly, make sure it is not put under stress and
thus damaged.
The only tools necessary are those used for installing and tightening the eight screws that attach
the unit.
