FC 300 Design Guide
How to Program
1-33 Stator Leakage Reactance (X1)
Option:
Ohm Dependingonmotordata.
Function:
Set the stator leakage reactance of the motor
using one of these methods:
1. Run an AMA on a cold m otor. The
adjustable frequency drive will measure
the value from the m otor.
2. Enter the X
1
value manually. Obtain t he
value from the motor supplier.
3. Use the X
1
default setting. The adjustable
frequency drive establishes the setting on the
basis of the motor namep late data.
This parameter cannot be adjusted while
the motor is running.
1-34 Rotor Leakage Reactance (X2)
Option:
Ohm Dependingonmotordata.
Function:
Set the rotor leakage reactance of the motor
using one of these methods:
1. Run an AMA on a cold m otor. The
adjustable frequency drive will measure
the value from the m otor.
2. Enter the X
2
value manually. Obtain t he
value from the motor supplier.
3. Use the X
2
default setting. The adjustable
frequency drive establishes the setting on the
basis of the motor namep late data.
This parameter cannot be adjusted while
the motor is running.
1-35 Main Reactance (Xh)
Option:
Ohm Dependingonmotordata.
Function:
Set the main reactance of the motor using
one of these methods:
1. Run an AMA on a cold m otor. The
adjustable frequency drive will measure
the value from the m otor.
2. Enter the X
h
value m anually. Obtain the
value from the m o tor s upplier.
3. Use the X
h
default setting. The adjustable
frequency drive establishes the setting on the
basis of the m otor nameplate d ata.
This parameter cannot be adjusted while
the motor is running.
1-36 Iron Loss Resistance (Rfe)
Range:
1 - 10.000 Ω
*
M-TYPE
Function:
Enter the equivalent iron loss resistance (R
Fe
)value
to compensat e for iron losses in the motor.
The R
Fe
value cannot be found by performing an AMA.
The R
Fe
value is especially important in torque
control applications. If R
Fe
is unknown, leave
par. 1-36 on de fault se tting.
This parameter cannot be adjusted while
the motor is running.
1-37 d-axis Inductance (Ld)
Range:
0.0 - 1000.0 m H
*
0.0 mH
Function:
Enter the value of the d-axis inductance. O b tain the
value from the permanent magnet m otor data sheet.
This parameter is only active whe n par. 1-10
Motor Design has the value PM, non-salient SPM
[1] (Permanent Magnet Motor).
This parameter is available for FC 302 only.
This parameter cannot be adjusted while
the motor is running.
1-39 Motor Poles
Option:
Depends on motor type
Va lue 2 - 100 poles
*
4-pole motor
Function:
Enter the number of motor poles.
