When the encoder option kit is ordered
separately, the kit includes:
•EncodermoduleMCB102
• Enlarged LCP fixture and enlarged terminal
cover
The encoder option does not support FC 302
adjustable frequency drives manufactured
before week 50/2004.
Min. software version: 2.03 (par. 15-43)
Installation of MCB 102:
• Thepowertotheadjustablefrequencydrivemustbedisconnected.
• Remove the LCP, the terminal cover, and the cradle from the FC
30x.
• Fit the M CB 102 option in slot B.
• Connect the control ca ble s and fasten the cables by the clamp to chassis.
• Fit the enla rged LCP fixture and enlarged terminal cover.
• Replace the LCP.
• Connect the powe r to the adjustable frequency drive.
• Select the encoder functions in par. 17-*.
