6. Follow the procedure below
a. Downloading files
[Downloading main firmware] (see Avansia User Guide).
Obtain the latest firmware from Evolis website or other sources and download it to the printer.
b. Downloading head resistance value data
Obtain resistance value data for the print head installed in the printer and then download it to the printer.
The print head has an individual serial number stamped on it. Check the serial number and obtain the
resistance value data for the same number.
c. Setting user mode items
Set items to be set under user mode.
For item details, see “Using the Operation Panel”(page 22
).
If you know the settings before replacing the substrate, set the same settings to the new substrate.
d. Setting option connect mode items
Set items to be set under option connect mode.
For item details, see “Using Operation Panel”(page 22
).
If you know the settings before replacing the substrate, set the same settings to the new substrate.
e. Setting and adjustment of service mode items
Set and adjust items to be set under service mode.
For item details, see “Using the Operation Panel"(page 22
).
