Cassette Handling Good Practices
Avansia cassettes must be handled with care because cassettes play a very important role in
print and lamination quality.
Cassettes have reference posts that must remain in original position:
Otherwise, when a reference post is torn, it can create used roll winding issues: badly spun used roll will
pull ribbon/film unevenly which will make film/ribbon crease.
For instance, creased ribbon generates colored wrinkles and creased film generates clear wrinkles.
Basically, good practice for cassette handling consists in making sure cassette reference posts remain in
original position when storing or manipulating the cassettes.
