Color shift: Adjustment
1. Vertical color shifting – Print Test U
The following card can be printed from LCD menu: Adjustment >> Position >> Print Test U.
This card is used to check vertical color shifting. Here is how to use it.
Printed card shows 3 columns of lines printed with each panel in order to detect shifting from a panel to
another.
Check card and seek for the lines where black print covers exactly color print in each column.
If we zoom on previous example, we could notice:
Once the “most perfect” black line identified on the pattern, value of the “perfect” line can then be applied
as Color vertical shifting setting value: (Adjustment >> Position >> Color Shift VTC).
